Drew Evans is a winner. Handsome and arrogant, he makes multimillion dollar business deals and seduces New York’s most beautiful women with just a smile. He has loyal friends and an indulgent family. So why has he been shuttered in his apartment for seven days, miserable and depressed?

He’ll tell you he has the flu.

But we all know that’s not really true.

Katherine Brooks is brilliant, beautiful and ambitious. She refuses to let anything – or anyone – derail her path to success. When Kate is hired as the new associate at Drew’s father’s investment banking firm, every aspect of the dashing playboy’s life is thrown into a tailspin. The professional competition she brings is unnerving, his attraction to her is distracting, his failure to entice her into his bed is exasperating.

Then, just when Drew is on the cusp of having everything he wants, his overblown confidence threatens to ruin it all. Will he be able untangle his feelings of lust and tenderness, frustration and fulfillment? Will he rise to the most important challenge of his life?

Can Drew Evans win at love?

Tangled is not your mother’s romance novel. It is an outrageous, passionate, witty narrative about a man who knows a lot about women…just not as much as he thinks he knows. As he tells his story, Drew learns the one thing he never wanted in life, is the only thing he can’t live without

My honest review:

Outrageously Hilarious. I cried from laughing so hard reading this book. You don’t get many romance stand alone book from a guy POV, and this book is just a piece of genius.  Emma Chase is officially one of my favorite writer. This is one book that been highly recommended by a good buddy book of mine. If she recommends something to me I normally just drop everything else, and start reading and I don’t even bother to read the reviews. And ohh wow this book was so worth it.

What can I say about Drew Evans?? He’s one condescending son of a bitch but my god do I LOVE him!  The ultimate swaggering patronizing male but the the one that will make you drool & knock you off your feet.

This story will take you through the insight working of Drew Evan’s mind. The once ambitious, driven, simple no relationship , man’s man & man about town is now sick. (well he tell you he’s sick, but we know that’s not true) Drew has finally fallen in love but , the love of his life is marrying someone else, so he’s telling you now how he meet Kate & fall for her.

“Women fall in love quicker than men. Easier and more often. But when guys fall? We go down harder. And when things go bad? When it’s not us who ends it? We don’t get to walk away.
We crawl.”
Emma Chase, Tangled

No this is not your knight shining amour romance. This is Drew Evan’s the condescending man type of romance. The man that’s been threaten by a women equally driven & brilliant but at the sometime fantasizing about having her under him type of romance. The hate- love passion  so expected plenty some politically incorrect smart arse comments!

“He moved his trunk-like manhood toward the weeping petals of her womanly center.’

Who the f*ck talks like that?!”
Emma Chase, Tangled

“Then I flip Kate the finger. Immature, I know, but apparently we’re now both functioning at the preschool level, so I’m guessing it’s okay. Kate sneers at me. Then she mouths, You wish. Well—she’s got me there, now doesn’t she?”
Emma Chase, Tangled

“Mackenzie raises her hand proudly. “I have a bagina.”
I smirk. “Yes, you do sweetheart. And someday, it’s gonna help you rule the world.”
Emma Chase, Tangled

Just drop everything else and start reading!
