Jack and Lexi never had a typical relationship. After 2 years without speaking, she receives a phone call that changes everything. He unexpectedly asks her to convince the new girl, Bekah, that he’s ready to commit. Jack is calling now after everything they had been through because there is another woman. She can’t believe it. Follow Lexi in this heart wrenching drama as she relives her past relationship, or lack thereof, with Jack, and not just in her own mind, but to his fiance-to-be. Throw in Bekah’s hot brother who always seems to be in the right place at the right time, a past with more secrets to unravel than you can even imagine, and you get a recipe for disaster. Find out what happens to Lexi as she travels to Atlanta to get the closure she so desperately desires from Jack, and how the bumps of life seem to keep getting in the way.

My honest review:

I didn’t get any sleep finishing this book. I can’t put the book down & I cant stop pulling my hair out. DO NOT READ this book if you are faint hearted.

Jack & Lexi, have a long history together. The one that you always love but never got a chance to be together. Until one day after not seeing each other for two years, Jack called, and told Lexi he’s planning to get marry and his girl friend wanted to meet all his the women he previously with before agreeing to commit to him. He asked Lexi to come and meet her. ( Right ? Here right here is the first sign I think I’m going be losing my mind reading this. ) Lexi on the other hand have another plan, she thought by going over she could put Jack behind and finally move on with her life. This is the chance she needs to break free. But can she really escape the love of her life?

“Jack: “..You were the only one I saw when I closed my eyes

“Lexi: “Then why wasn’t I enough when they were open?”

The story takes you through Lexi & Jack past & presents. So you will go through how they meet, what happen to them previously and their present love triangle.   I endured the roller coaster ride of Jake & Lex at the begging thinking they haven’t found the perfect timing to be together but as the page turns. But as the pages turn the more gut wrenching & devastating it become & I became more and more angry at the characters. I could actually feel like killing Bekah & I swore I could bitch slap each one of them on they stupidity. I cried for every heart breaks they endured.

“So, as sad as this day is for me,as I am losing a part of myself with the loss of you,it is really just the beginning for me. It is like cutting off the spoiled part to get to the juicy center. So, I would appreciate it this time, if you did not try and contact me. Because, as I’m sure you know, I deserve better. I want everything this time around, and I deserve it.”
